Some common alternatives include “I Miss U” and “Missin’ You.” These variations serve the same purpose as IMY but may be used to add a personal touch or a sense of informality to the conversation.Īdditionally, individuals may choose to use emojis or emoticons alongside IMY to further enhance the meaning and convey their emotions. In addition to IMY, there are other variations and alternatives that express a similar sentiment. IMY.” In this context, IMY serves as a way to communicate the lingering emotions and desire to reconnect. For example, if you recently ended a relationship and still have feelings for your ex, you may text them saying, “I hope you’re doing well. IMY can also be used to express longing for someone who is no longer in your life. IMY!” This tells your friend that you miss them and would love to catch up soon. By using IMY, individuals express their desire to see each other and their emotional attachment to the person they’re communicating with. IMY is often used between friends, family members, or romantic partners who share a close bond. IMY stands for “I Miss You.” It is commonly used in text messages and online conversations to express affection, longing, and nostalgia towards someone who is not physically present at the moment. In this article, we will explore the meaning of IMY and its usage in text conversations. If you’ve come across this term while chatting with someone or reading a text message, you may be wondering what it means. In today’s digital world, where communication is primarily conducted through text messages and online platforms, it’s no surprise that new acronyms and abbreviations have emerged to help streamline conversations. Additionally, it features a number of tools to make the development of Telegram bots with R easy and straightforward, providing an easy-to-use interface that takes some work off the programmer. It uses httr and jsonlite packages to do such work. Fortunately, there is a package that allows you to do that: telegram.bot. You could program with R some functions that send these HTTPS requests and processes its responses. Once you’ve visited this URL, you should see a message from your Bot sent to your which says “TestReply”. Once you have this ID, visit the following URL in your browser, substituting for your chat ID. It’s the id field which is inside the chat field. There are a bunch of different IDs in the JSON response from the getUpdates call, so make sure you get the right one. To do this, you need the chat ID for the chat where you want to send the message. The final API call that we’ll try out in the browser is that used to send a message. Try sending a message to your Bot and visit that URL. If you this page you’ll get a JSON response of all the new messages sent to your Bot. The simplest way to retrieve messages sent to your Bot is through the getUpdates call: Finally, you specify the command that you want to send ( /getMe) which in this case just returns basic information about our Bot using JSON. You follow this with /bot to say that you want to send a command to your Bot, and immediately after you add your TOKEN to identify which bot you want to send the command to and to prove that you own it. The first part of the URL indicates that you want to communicate with the Telegram API ( ). Visit the following URL in your browser (substituting the TOKEN that you got before): The simplest command is one where you get information about your Bot. By visiting different URLs, you send different commands to your Bot. This means that the simplest way to interact with your Bot is through a web browser. You can control your Bot by sending HTTPS requests to Telegram. Take note of the token, as you’ll need it in the code that you are about to write. The token should look something like this:ġ23456:ABC-DEF1234ghIkl-zyx57W2v1u123ew11įor the rest of this tutorial, we’ll indicate where you need to put your token by using or just TOKEN. To create a new bot, send the following command to BotFather as a chat (exactly as if you were talking to another person on Telegram):Īfter doing so, BotFather will send you a “Congratulations” message, which will include a token. The former are simply text that you send as if you were sending a message to another person, while the latter are prefixed with a / character. Telegram bots can receive messages or commands. You can do so by talking to and following a few simple steps. Second, you’ll need to create a Telegram Bot in order to get an Access Token. So, let’s get started! We were called to duty (often rousted out of bed) at the first hint of a call sign change, and worked around the clock until the crisis was over. These were the days we earned our stripes… Soon their listener’s knew that we knew-this was the secret cold war. Our monitoring could bring the entire Allied Forces to a silent alert. (Of course, the Allies did the same thing.) Usually these changes turned out to be military training or maneuvers, but the Allies always had to treat them as the real thing-perhaps an invasion of Europe. These changes were usually preceded by changes in the Russians’ radio call signs and frequencies-operational details which we spent months tying to specific military units (ground and air), thus defining their military organizations, or “order of battle.” The Russians changed their call signs because they knew we were listening and that the change would confuse our monitoring efforts. Our work became most serious when the Russians made some move or change in their military operations, changes we were often the first to detect. Yeah, we were kind of a smart-alec bunch of kids, but we did our jobs well. USAFSS RSM Units (Radio Squadron’s Mobile) were stationed from Alaska to Korea, and from Scotland to North Africa… We were then sent worldwide to work in a secret part of the Cold War. (I do know what got me in-a brand new BS degree, and because I had a ham license and knew the Morse code!) We received on-the-job training in communications intelligence (COMINT) at Brooks AFB in San Antonio, Texas. Not that we knew anything about what we were getting into, but many of us had college degrees or other aptitudes that filtered us into the USAFSS. The truth is, we were hand picked for our jobs. Because of the sensitive nature of our jobs, we were forbidden to take leave in the border area near the Iron Curtain, but listening to Russian radio signals across that border was our job. On the other hand, we were all very serious about our jobs, part of a large intelligence gathering enterprise. His translators were evacuated before some of the GI’s, because of the sensitivity of their jobs.) We spent our spare time chasing German frauleins, drinking German beer, snapping our German cameras, traveling throughout Western Europe and dreaming about getting out at the end of our 4-year enlistment. He told us of working with Korean translators so near the front that they became overun and had to be evacuated by air. Jim Schuman, who had served in Korea, was assigned to our section. Although far from home and in the land of a former enemy, most of us privately gave thanks that we were not with our USAFSS counterparts in Korea we knew we had a plum assignment in Bavaria. Our unit was the 6910th Security Group, based at a former German air base just outside the beautiful little Bavarian town of Landsberg am/Lech. While Adobe Acrobat offers more tools than most people need, it's hands-down the best option if you work with PDF files daily. It's really straightforward to edit text and images directly in Adobe Acrobat, but if you prefer to edit text- or data-heavy files in other apps, such as Microsoft Word or Excel, you can export PDF files into compatible formats. And with a recent interface design update, it's easier to navigate through all the available tools (they were previously hidden behind nested menus). It offers a comprehensive set of features, so you can review and edit PDFs, create and complete forms, and collaborate on files. The best PDF editor apps at a glanceĪdobe Acrobat is the high-water mark of PDF editor apps-and for good reason. But if you edit eBooks for a living, you may want to invest in a more comprehensive editor like Adobe Acrobat. The pictures that are/is containted in any/all wiring diagrams that us mere mortals can acquire -shows these as a simple transistor to assist our grip of the general concepts.Nothing more! Which, in reality, they are not! All of these are Darlington-amplifiers.A hybrid device! Thusly, much more AND! much less than stardard transistor design B-S applies here.īut the bottom line is that for the particular "fred-flintstone" application of putting this device on our cars does not require any of that cool engineering stuff. "nrkrell".You would be absolutely correct IF! this was indeed a critical application and if these units were just "transistors" as the name given by the factory's use of the word suggests. Let me try to answer the questions as accurately as possible: That has the module mounted on the side of the distributor, since these engines DO NOT have the ignition switched or controlled by the ECU! Please note > None of the above data applies to any Datsun-Nissan So now you know the truth. It is the lack of a good ground or high resistance in the ground patch for the transistor is actually what causes it to burn-up in most cases.Īccess a quality information-source (Mitchell, Alldata, Clymer, Haynes, Chiltons) to identify the wiring of donor-part (make-model-year) and wire it in.Yes, it's that easy!īe creative! Dare to innovate. So you won't have to limit yourself to the short list of "by-the-book" solutions. With these "three-pin" transistors, it EXTREMELY important to make sure that the "power-transistor" itself is actually grounded VERY,VERY WELL ! That's because the heat-sink itself IS indeed the "ground" connection. The "fourth" wire, so to speak! Some of these units will only have three wires or "pins" visible as connections. Translation. There will be four connections eriod! Just not all transistors will have this as obvious as a "fourth-wire". A fourth connection to do this may or may not be present in the form of a "fourth" wire.Since some of these "power-transistors" actually ground internally through the heat-sink itself, thus eliminating the need for another wire-connection The list of useable-replacements for this transistor is as follows.Īny Datsun-Nissan with any device that even remotely looks like it might be a Transistor mounted close to the coil from 1984 and newer that DID NOT! have D.I.S.Įxamples: 1984-1989 Z31 ZX and ZXT, 1990-1998 Stanza-Altima,1991-1999 Sentra(both 1.6 and 2.0 engine), any VG-30 SOHC from 1984-1989(pick-up, 200-SX, etc.).The list goes on and on!Īny of these useable devices are wired as follows, Period! No exceptions !!ġ-wire for negative in-put signal(from the ECU to switch the transistor on- and-off).ġ-wire for the high-current negative out to the coil negative terminal.Īnd finally a ground, because the unit is going to "amplify" a ground, the transistor itself MUST !! have a good ground source to "pull" the high-current signal "down". So all these power-transisters do is "amplify" the ground-on-off signal coming from the ECU.Enough to handle the coil's higher amperage needs. It's the fact that the ECU itself simply can't handle switching all of the power some high( or higher) current devices might draw.Like the ignition coil. Remember that in 99% of all applications, the outputs from any ECU, on any car, are just switching a "ground" signal on-and-off.Nothing more! which is to protect the ignititon-ouput circuits of the ECU from the tasks of handling the high-current switching for the coil. They may not look the same.****, most of them actually look totally different!īut they ALL ! work the EXACT same way to do the exact same thing. There are many other "power-transistors" from other Nissan cars that will work just fine as a replacement for the original-type unit. Give me a vote as to if I should submit this one as an article or not: ase mat More semi-useless info.Well maybe not so useless! |
